4 WAREHOUSING

  A Public Course introduced in 1995 to meet the Training needs of staff working in warehouses or leading teams with stock movement responsibilities.

OUTCOMES: Competencies to be acquired:

On completion participants will be better able to:

Organise a warehouse that will serve both in-house and outside customers to a higher degree of efficiency
Use the latest techniques of bar-code identity on product inners, on box outers and on bins and shelves
Know the effects of paperless systems on work practices in the warehouse
Plan labour utilisation and work flow and the advantages of best practices with the handling and storage systems available
